Today, as we honor the strength, resilience, and boundless potential of women, it’s an opportune moment to reflect on the work Enactus has done to uplift and empower them. At its core, Enactus has always championed women’s empowerment through impactful initiatives that address pressing societal challenges.

One such initiative, Project Shrimati, is a testament to our commitment to creating sustainable and meaningful change. By producing reusable biodegradable sanitary pads, we’ve tackled two critical issues—access to affordable menstrual products and environmental sustainability. These cost-effective pads not only improve menstrual hygiene but also provide underprivileged women with a dignified solution, ensuring that periods never stand in the way of progress.

Beyond addressing health and hygiene, Enactus has actively worked to foster digital literacy and online safety for women. Through specially designed camps, we’ve educated women about navigating the digital space safely, empowering them with the knowledge to protect themselves in an increasingly interconnected world.

Our efforts extend further with drives and donation camps, providing essential resources to those in need. From distributing menstrual products to hosting awareness sessions, these initiatives embody our unwavering commitment to equity and inclusivity.

This day serves as a powerful reminder of why we began this journey—to break barriers, challenge stereotypes, and build a world where every woman has the tools to succeed. While the road ahead is long, the impact of our initiatives proves that change is not only possible but within reach.

Together, let’s continue to empower women, one initiative at a time. Because when women rise, they lift entire communities with them.
