Project Shrimati, the flagship project of Enactus Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), emerged as the winner of the Enactus Global Race for Climate Action Impact, at the 2022 Enactus World Cup, on 3rd November, 2022 for “demonstrating the greatest impact on reducing the adverse effects on Climate”.
At the 2022 Enactus World Cup, the flagship project of Enactus, JMI, "Project Shrimati," won the Enactus Global Race for Climate Action Impact. By "demonstrating the highest impact on lowering the unfavourable consequences on Climate," the JMI team was declared the winner.
The JMI entry was judged along with 90 entries from 16 countries by 60 eminent subject matter experts. Project Shrimati was acclaimed as the innovation with had the most profound impact in dealing with climate action.
नई दिल्ली, 9 नवंबर (आईएएनएस)। जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया का प्रोजेक्ट श्रीमती यूएसए पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया है। द ग्रेटेस्ट इंपेक्ट ऑन रेड्यूसिंग द एड्वर्स इफेक्ट्स ऑन क्लाइमेट प्रतिस्पर्धा में प्रोजेक्ट श्रीमती विजेता रही। परियोजना श्रीमती का उद्देश्य पर्यावरण के अनुकूल, बायोडिग्रेडेबल और रियूजेबल सैनिटरी पैड बनाने के सिद्धांतों पर काम करना है। इसके साथ ही एक समुदाय-आधारित संगठन के सहयोग से नई दिल्ली में महिला समुदाय को एक स्थिर आय स्रोत प्रदान करना भी इसका उद्देश्य है।
Among 90 entries and 16 countries, passing an independent judging panel of approximately 60 eminent subject matter experts, Enactus alumni and sponsor employees, Project Shrimati, was acclaimed as the innovation whose impact was the most profound when it came to climate action, JMI said in a statement.
